President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. also revealed that Pastor Apollo Quiboloy did not surrender voluntarily but was forced to come out. According to DILG Secretary Benhur Abalos, Quiboloy was arrested inside the KOJC compound on the night of September 8. However, Quiboloy’s lawyer, Atty. Ferdinand Topacio claimed that his client surrendered on his own. Quiboloy is now in the custody of the Philippine National Police (PNP) and is facing charges, including violations of laws against human trafficking and other offenses.
