In the video, one can see policemen on big bikes followed by vehicles carrying the remains of those who perished in the tragedy entering the premises of the Wat Khao Phra Ya Sangkharam in Lan Sak district, Uthai Thani Province.

Wat Khao Phra Ya Sangkharam houses the school where the young victims study and the teachers go to work.

It can be recalled that His Majesty, Maha Vajiralongkorn, the King of Thailand, has extended his royal patronage to the 23 who perished in the fire, as well as the survivors, ensuring that they will receive the highest level of support.

The convoy briefly stopped at the scene of the accident on Vibhavadi Rangsit Road, where Thai monks performed a ritual calling the spirits back home.

Grieving relatives, many of them crying out loud, received the white caskets with gold inlays at the school premises.

Meanwhile, Thai police revealed on Wednesday that the initial statements of the bus driver, Saman Chanput, were contrary to what investigators found out. According to Khaosod English, Acting Police Chief Pol Gen Kittirat Panpetch, investigators did not find evidence of a bus tire exploding. Investigators also discovered that there were not just 10, but 11 NGV tanks installed on the bus. Five of the said tanks allegedly had no permit.
