I’m currently visiting the US from Scotland, and my wife is thinking about upgrading her 9th Gen iPad for a 10th Gen. I appreciate that the 10th is due an upgrade, but my wife isn’t massively into tech and I’m not sure she could justify the additional cost of an iPad Air. We could sell her 9th gen back in the UK for a decent amount, so the cost to change isn’t that much when you factor in the saving on the 10th (they are cheaper here in the US). Best Buy currently have the base model for $309, which works out at £250 with sales tax, and we could probably get £160/170 for the 9th as it is in perfect condition.
My wife played with the 10th Gen at the Apple store yesterday and she felt like it was more modern with a better screen. Would it be mad to change? I say this as somebody who has just bought an M4 iPP, but my wife just doesn’t share my need for the latest tech.
