Wordle 754 – 4/6

??⬜⬜? ABIDE
⬜??⬜? TABLE
???⬜? BARRE
????? BARGE

My game starts out smoothly with a combination of yellows, a green and a red. I am predicting a 4-turn solve after turn two. I have developed a set of instincts to help me solve these types of problems. I feel that I won’t be able to get the answer in my next turn.

When I think of you, I also think SABREBut it is too vague. The winning word is not MAYBEI’m not sure, but everything on the board seems to suggest it. I dream about a world in which two-word combinations can be the answer. BARRE is what I imagine, but am I sure I believe in it?

Then I guess.

Now I’m really confusing. BAR_E? The answer is BAR_E.

My own biases are to blame for my failures in this Wordle. BARRE is a BARRE nut. I have completed all the challenges. I have done 20 classes within 30 days. I’ve done every stretch, combination and exercise that my merciless instructors have programmed. After class, I was sore the next day and I returned as many times as I could. I’m sorry for not having thought of BARGE.

Now that I’m thinking about the word, I really appreciate the editor’s choice. BARGE is a Wordle word that has some special characteristics. It can be used as a verb or noun. The word is not only unfamiliar, but also has letters that are common. The word today gets five stars even though I went around in circles to find the answer.

This puzzle was a challenge for many people because there are so many words that differ by just one or two letters from BARGE, such as BADGE, BASTE, and BATHE. How did you do today?

Today’s Word is BARGE. According to Webster’s New World College DictionaryIt can also be a noun with a meaning “a large boat, usually flat-bottomed, for carrying heavy freight.” It can be used as a verb with a meaning. “to move slowly and clumsily” Or to invade.

Wordle of the Day is The unfamiliarity with the letter or word pattern makes this a moderately difficult puzzle.. The letter pattern is distinct and can be identified using elimination techniques within six guesses.
