Trio of Redlynch homes targeted by garden equipment thieves
Police are urging people in the area to review security measures
Thousands of pounds of gardening equipment and bikes have been stolen from three homes in the Redlynch area.
Police are investigating the thefts and are encouraging home owners in the area to check their security arrangements and to be vigilant.
The three homes were targeted by thieves overnight on September 19 into the early hours of September 20, and are all in rural and remote locations with barns and outbuildings.
It’s thought those responsible travelled in a black Ford Transit van to Redlynch via Downton, before returning to Hampshire via West Willow.
Officer patrols of the area have been increased and Wiltshire Police is working with it’s Hampshire counterparts to carry out enquiries.
