Torete by Moonstar88 was, and still is, a defining anthem of Filipino youth. Originally released in the early 2000s under the album Popcorn, the song became a soundtrack for a generation — and continues to resonate with new listeners today.
This year marks its 25th anniversary, and to celebrate, a special free-admission concert will be held: 25 Years of Torete with Moonstar88 Live.
Organized by Soupstar Music, Moonstar88’s management, the concert aims not only to commemorate this milestone with loyal fans but also to introduce Torete to a new generation — reaching listeners not just in Metro Manila but across the country and beyond.
The one-night-only event will take place on May 24, 2025, at Eton Centris Walk in Quezon City, promising an evening of music, memories, and meaningful connection.
Moonstar88 will perform their iconic hits in a special orchestral arrangement alongside the Metro Manila Concert Orchestra, offering a unique and powerful symphonic tribute to the band’s legacy of love and longing.
Opening performances will feature OPM acts Hey June! and Better Days. PR
