The pre-order period for Samsung’s new Galaxy Tab S10+ and Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra is over in most markets, and the two new tablets are now available outright. Furthermore, buyers who want to deck out their tablets can also pick one or more optional accessories.

However, because cross-compatibility for tablet accessories is a new thing for Samsung, using filters at the online store can get in the way. Here’s all you need to know to pick up the right accessory for your tablet. You can also use the links below.

In total, the Galaxy Tab S10+ and Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra offer a range of seven accessories, including:

Another useful hint is that if you can’t find one or more of these Galaxy Tab S10 accessories at the Samsung e-shop, they might be filtered out. Galaxy Tab S9 and Tab S10 accessories are cross-compatible as long as you match the size from one generation to the other.

As such, if you filter out the Tab S9 at the e-shop, you will have a hard time finding some of the accessories that Samsung released last year but are still compatible with the Tab S10+ or Tab S10 Ultra.

For example, the Smart Book Cover and Book Cover Keyboards have been slightly redesigned for the new Galaxy Tab S10+ and Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra and will always show up when searching the store for Tab S10 or Tab S9 accessories.

On the other hand, the Outdoor Cover and the screen protectors are the same as last year. They were originally released for the Galaxy Tab S9+ and Tab S9 Ultra but are forward compatible with the newer Tab S10 series. And for whatever reason, right now, these accessories might not show up correctly.

Just make sure you select both the Tab S9 and Tab S10 in the filter box when you’re looking for optional extras, or use the links above if you’re buying from the US e-shop.

One other thing to remember is that the new Galaxy Tab S10 keyboards are compatible with the older Galaxy Tab S9, but the Galaxy AI button Samsung added this year only works with the latest Tab S10 models. At least, for now. Samsung could address this through a future firmware update, but time will tell.
