Taylor Lautner and Taylor Swift teamed up in 2010 to create a music video for Swift’s hit song. “I Can See You.” The video was directed by Roman White and showcased the chemistry of the Taylors in a love story that was reminiscent of their relationship. Rolling Stone called the video a “charming and playful depiction of young love.”
Swift starts the video by spotting Lautner playing football and imagining an intimate relationship with him. Visuals show their sweet moments, including walking together through a field of sunflowers and splashing water in each other’s faces. The chemistry between Swift and Lautner was unmistakable. The inclusion of King, Presley, and Lautner, whom Swift had dated in the past, added a special touch. Swift noted on Twitter.

I wrote this video treatment over a year ago and really wanted to play out symbolically how it’s felt for me to have the fans helping me reclaim my music. I had my heart set on @JoeyKingTaylor Lautner @IAmPresleyCash “It’s a great movie,” she wrote. “Joey and Presley had been in the video for ‘Mean’ when they were 9 and 13 and they are back and so ridiculously bad ass!!”
Lautner also received praise from her for his stunts.
