Timothée Chalamet is taking viewers to a world of pure imagination. Warner Bros. have released the trailer for “Wonka“, starring Chalamet in the role of Roald Dahl’s eccentric chocolatier.

The musical fantasy film tells the story of young Willy Wonka and his adventures, including the encounter with the Oompa Loompas.

Chalamet’s film is also starring Olivia Colman as well as Sally Hawkins and Keegan Michael Key. “Wonka” Paul King is the director of this film. He wrote the script with Simon Farnaby. Michael Siegel, Alexandra Derbyshire and Heyman Films are the producers of the film.

“To work on something that will have an uncynical young audience, that was just a big joy,” Chalamet said. “That’s why I was drawn to it. In a time and climate of intense political rhetoric, when there’s so much bad news all the time, this is hopefully going to be a piece of chocolate.”
