More leaks ahead of launch?

A recent report by Android Headlines details what could be the specifications of the upcoming Galaxy S25 series.

The first of the variants is the Galaxy S25, which is equipped with a flat 6.2-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 2,340 x 1,080 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Inside is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite, 12GB RAM, 128GB/256GB/512GB storage, and a 4,000mAh battery with 25W fast wired and wireless charging. The S25 measures 146.9 x 70.5 x 7.2mm and weighs 162 grams.

Next is the Galaxy S25+, which has a larger 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x display with a 3,120 x 1,440 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Inside is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite, 12GB RAM, 256GB/512GB of storage, and a 4,900mAh battery with 45W wired and wireless charging. The S25+ measures 158.4 x 75.8 x 7.3mm and weighs 190 grams.

The Galaxy S25 and S25+ will allegedly come equipped with last year’s 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, and a 10MP 3x telephoto camera with an LED flash. The 12MP selfie camera is also in front of both phones.

Last up is the Galaxy S25 Ultra, Android Headlines claims that it will feature a 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen with a 3,120 x 1,440 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Inside is the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy SoC, 12GB RAM, 256GB/512GB and 1TB of storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with 45W wired charging and wireless charging.

At the back of the S25 Ultra will allegedly be a 200MP main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, a 10MP 3x telephoto and a 50MP 5x optical periscope telephoto with an LED flash. The S25 Ultra will allegedly measure 162.8 x 77.6 x 8.2mm and weigh 218 grams.

All three phones support WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 5.3 and all three are running Android 15-based One UI 7. It will support either dual SIM or eSIM options.

If true, spec-wise, not much has changed for the S25 series from the previous generation except for the Snapdragon 8 Elite.

Take this information with a grain of salt until Samsung’s unpacked event this January 22, 2025.
