P-Pop fans experienced an incredible time at the second edition of the Watsons Playlist 2024: The Feel Great concert
Headlined by SB19 and featuring other P-Pop groups like HORI7ON, G22, Kaia, Alamat, and New:ID, the event was held on August 18, 2024, at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
Besides the solo sets from each group, fans were thrilled by the collaborative stages involving the participating P-Pop groups.
The boy groups SB19, HORI7ON, and Alamat shared the stage for a collaborative performance of their songs.
The medley included SB19 with “Bazinga,” HORI7ON with “Hit Me,” and Alamat with “Dagundong,” with all groups joining in for seamless transitions between the performances.
Apart from the boy group stage, the girl groups KAIA and G22 also shared the stage for an amazing collaboration. They performed their songs “Blah Blah” and “Boomerang,” respectively.
For the finale, all five P-Pop groups united for a collaborative performance of SB19’s chart-topping hit “WHAT?”

SB19: P-POP RISE!
Earlier in the concert, SB19’s leader Pablo expressed his gratitude for being part of the event, emphasizing its importance in uplifting P-Pop music.
He said, “Alam mo, sobrang nakakatuwa ngayong gabi kasi nagsama-sama lahat ng… halos lahat ng P-Pop groups to perform on this stage.
“Iisa lang tayo ng layunin at yun ay to promote ang P-Pop.”

The group performed some of their hit songs, kicking off with an electrifying rendition of “MANA.”
They then slowed things down with a heartfelt performance of their ballad “Tilaluha,” a song they hadn’t had the chance to perform for quite some time.
Another highlight of their set was when they brought out Gloc-9 for a powerful performance of their latest song “Kalakal.”
After their performance, Gloc-9 expressed his gratitude towards SB19 for inviting him to be part of their set during the concert.
He also promised the group that he would gladly come to their shows and perform anytime they asked.
Gloc-9 said, “Siyempre ako, gusto kong magpasalamat sa inyo lahat. Maraming salamat sa opportunity na ito.
“At pinapasok ninyo sa mundo ninyo. Maraming-maraming salamat. Maraming salamat A’Tin!”
He later added, “Ako, e, katulad nung sinabi na sa inyo sa dug out, pare. Hindi ko normally gagawin na kantahin ang isang bagong kanta. Kahit na sa isang gig lang.
“Pero, lalung-lalo, sa ganito kalaking event, ako’y nanliliit sa opportunity na binigay niyo sa sakin, maraming, maraming salamat.
“At ah… pero dahil diyan, pag tinawag niyo ako e pupunta talaga [ako].”
SB19 concluded their set with a performance of their global hit “Gento.”
WATSONS’ PLAYLIST 2024: EVENT HIGHLIGHTS
In addition to SB19, various P-Pop groups delivered stellar performances throughout the concert.
Kicking off the event at Watson’s Playlist was MLD Entertainment’s new P-Pop group New:ID composed of Dream Maker alumni Wilson, Macky, L, Thad, and Jom. New:ID captivated the audience with their debut track “Ghost” and followed with “Deja Vu.”

The “Limitless Female Alphas” of P-Pop, G22, composed of AJ, Alfea, and Jaz, wowed the audience with powerful performances of their songs “Loka,” “Musika,” “One Sided Love,” “I Hate Boys,” and “Bang.”

SB19’s sister group KAIA, featuring twin sisters Charice and Angela, along with Alexa, Sophia, and Charlotte, charmed the crowd with renditions of “You Did It,” “5678,” “Dalawa,” “Turn Up,” and “Kaya.”

Global P-pop sensation HORI7ON brought dynamic energy to the stage with their performances of “Sumayaw, Sumunod,” “Lovey Dovey,” “Meteor,” “Dash,” and “Six7een.”

Meanwhile, the six-member boy group Alamat, featuring Taneo, Mo, Jao, Tomás, R-Ji, and Alas, entranced everyone with their hits “Kasmala,” “Day and Night,” “Say U Love Me,” “Dayang,” and “Marahani.”
