Like a bad bout of the runs, I am back. Well, just as a special guest host. Sorry.
Speaking of the runs, I will be “running” in a charity fun run tonight as this gets posted (Thankfully, the temps should be reasonable given that we start at 5:45). The monies are going to an agency that supports youth that have mental or behaviour issues. Sadly, the agency is chronically underfunded and has a considerable wait list. Two of my kids are joining the Boss and I, so I am sure I will be assaulted with comments about my age and lack of foot speed throughout the night.
Currently, I am watching the game as Mrs Canuck seriously suggests we go back to the Burgh for a game this year…
- Watching the O Line giving up another sack (3rd one at this point) against a group of non starter Lions gives me cause for concern. Thoughts on the O Line as we sit here today?
- Other than Big Ben, the original TB, or any WR from our Steelers past, who would you take from Steeler glory to put on this team today to take them to the “BIG GAME”?
- We (the Mrs and I) have spent a lot of time camping this summer, highlighted by a hike that consisted of a 20k bike ride and an actual 9k hike. The elevation on our hike was over 1000 ft and the resulting views were incredible. What has been your summer highlight to date?
- What is the one movie that ‘everyone’ has seen but you?
- What would a canuck SNOT be without a food question… recently I bought a new smoker and will be smoking 3 chickens and a pork loin tomorrow. What side would you bring (bonus points for recipes!!!!) if I invited you over?
