Samsung to launch Galaxy Quantum 5 tomorrow

Samsung not only makes some of the best smartphones in the market but also some of the most unique ones. Among the latter are the Galaxy Quantum series phones. They feature a quantum random number generator (QRNG) that offers increased security to keep your data safer and make it harder for anyone to break into the phone.

Well, the South Korean-based tech giant is going to launch a new device in the lineup soon, the Galaxy Quantum 5, which will be based on the Galaxy A55, and come as a successor to the Galaxy A54-based Galaxy Quantum 4 from last year.

According to a new report from ET News, Samsung will launch the Galaxy Quantum 5 in South Korea tomorrow (28 August 2024). The publication says that the company will price the phone at KRW 618,200 (approximately USD 464).

Like every other Quantum series phone, the Galaxy Quantum 5 will also be available only in the brand’s home country and only through SK Telecom. It is a shame that Samsung won’t be launching this cool smartphone in other regions.

Galaxy Quantum 5 expected and leaked specifications

Considering that the Galaxy Quantum 5 will be based on the Galaxy A55, expect it to feature a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, Exynos 1480 SoC, up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, 50MP wide + 12MP ultrawide + 5MP macro camera setup at the rear, and a 32MP selfie camera.
