Sam Milby grateful for miracle saving sister Ada from accident
Sam Milby expressed immense relief and gratitude that his sister Ada is now safe and healing after being involved in a road accident while riding her motorcycle.
In an Instagram post on Friday, January 10, 2025, Sam disclosed that Ada’s accident happened on the South Luzon Expressway over the holidays.
His post included a photo of himself with Ada, who is currently using crutches to aid in her walking.
Additionally, Sam’s Instagram update featured dashcam footage from the accident, showing Ada’s motorcycle being hit by a vehicle which was pushed by a truck that allegedly lost its brakes.
Reflecting on the accident, Sam wrote (published as is), “Milagro. Yun ang nangyari sa Ate ko last month. Definitely not the way she wanted to spend the holidays but thank you Lord she is safe and healing.
“She walked away with no broken bones…. just badly bruised with some stitches (Siya yung nakamotor sa video). but sadly a young mans life was taken [emoji].
“Nawalan daw ng preno yung truck at parang madalas nangyayari to 🙁
“I hope more can be done to force companies to do regular checkups and maintenance for a lot of these older trucks. So glad you’re ok and I love you sis.”

The comments section of Sam’s post was flooded with well-wishes for his sister.
Among those who commented was Sam’s ex-girlfriend, Catriona Gray.
She expressed her relief, writing, “Thank God you’re safe and recovering @ada_milby [emoji] Hope to see transportation companies stepping up to ensure safe vehicles on our roads, and the appropriate accountabilty when oversights lead to tragedies such as these. [emoji]
Judy Ann Santos also shared her relief in the comments section, writing, “Oh my .. glad your sister is ok.. [heart emojis] her guardian angel really took care of her.”
