A banana stuck on a wall with a duct tape was sold at the Sotheby’s auction house in New York City for the price of P350 million, which was around $6.2 million.

According to GMA News, the banana was part of the conceptual piece “Comedian” by Maurizio Cattelan, an Italian artist.
The bid initially started at $1.5 million, but eventually bloated in number due to seven bidders.
Eventually, a Chinese named Justin Sun won the piece.
