At the time of this writing, PC gamers are able to snag six free games for their collections across the Epic Games Store, Steam, and GOG. One of the big upsides to PC gaming is all the free games that gamers can get. New free games are given away on a weekly basis, though it is rare that six free games are up for grabs all at the same time.

There are a couple of reasons why there are so many free PC Games to claim right now. For one, the Epic Games Store is running one of its mystery game promotions, and to spice things up, the platform is giving away three free games this week. As far as Steam and GOG go, each are giving away a free Warhammer 40K game to celebrate the recent Warhammer Skulls Showcase. The event saw new Warhammer 40K games announced, including a remaster of the first Space Marine, but fans can check out some of the older games in the franchise completely free of charge if they claim them in time.

The Epic Games Store mega sale means that there are a few weeks of mystery games ahead of players, and there’s a chance for a few surprises.

Warhammer 40K fans will especially be excited about getting free games in the franchise. For those unfamiliar with these particular titles, both Warhammer 40K: Gladius – Relics of War and Warhammer 40K: Rites of War are strategy games.
