On Instagram Stories on Saturday, June 7, Ogie expresssed his two cents on maintaining lasting friendships.
“Every gising is a blessing!” he began his post.
“Sabi nila, ang tunay na kaibigan ay malalaman mo sa panahong walang-wala ka na, ubos ka na o hindi ka na uso,” Ogie wrote, citing a longstanding belief.

Mama Ogs went on to give a piece of feasible advice on keeping friends
“Kaya ngayong habang meron ka, matagumpay ka, i- keep mo ang mga taong nandiyan na nung panahong walang-wala ka pa. Lalo na kung hindi naman ang yaman mo ang habol nila.”
The entertainment reporter and talent manager said that by doing so, people no longer need to worry about whether their friends will stay even when they have nothing.
“Tapos, bigla kang may ‘What if dumating ang panahong walang-wala na ako, nandyan pa rin kaya sila?’ Hindi mo itatanong yan kung naging mabuti kang kaibigan sa kanila.”
