Mario Kart World, one of the flagship titles launching alongside the Switch 2, introduces an open-world design and supports races with up to 24 players, doubling the capacity of previous entries in the series .

While the Philippine pricing is higher than the U.S. MSRP of $449.99 (approximately ₱25,700), the local price includes taxes and import duties, which contribute to the increased cost .

Pre-orders are also available through authorized retailers like GameXtreme and DataBlitz, with some requiring a down payment of ₱5,000 to secure a unit .

In addition to the console launch, Nintendo is set to introduce the Nintendo eShop in the Philippines, providing gamers with a convenient platform for digital game purchases and downloads .

With these developments, Filipino gamers are poised to experience Nintendo’s next-generation gaming console without the delays that have historically affected the region.
