Nintendo 64 games will have new features on Nintendo Switch 2
Users of the first Switch will receive an additional feature.
Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pass subscribers have retro console games available to them. While GameCube games will be available only on the Switch 2, Nintendo 64 titles are also available on the first console. All in all, those playing on the new machine will enjoy new features.
Two of the announced features will be exclusive to Nintendo Switch 2, as confirmed in the trailer, available just below these lines: the first one is the rewind option. This allows the player to go back a few seconds when they make a mistake, for example. The second option is graphic, nothing more and nothing less than a CRT filter, which simulates the image of tube televisions to make the experience more retro.

Despite the rewind and CRT filter option on Nintendo 64 classics being exclusive to Switch 2, the third feature is compatible on both consoles. Players will have the option to customize the controller controls to their liking.
Nintendo Switch 2 goes on sale on June 5. The console will initially be sold in two different packs: the one that includes only the machine ($449.99) and the one that comes with a digital copy of Mario Kart World ($499.99).
