Marvel Mystic Mayhem launches this June
NetEase’s tactical RPG Marvel Mystic Mayhem is set to launch on iOS and Android platforms this June. The game will allow players to collect various Marvel Comics characters, such as Doctor Strange and Spider-Man, in a gacha-like gameplay loop. Armed with a playable roster of iconic Marvel characters, players will then battle it out in the Nightmare Dimension.
This week, NetEase also confirmed that Sentry–a sometimes superhero, sometimes villain who recently featured in Marvel Studios’ Thunderbolts–will be playable in-game at launch. Pre-registrations for the game are also now open, with players being able to earn in-game rewards like currency, collectibles, and Shadow Keys (which are tied to player progression) at certain milestones.
Psylocke will also be unlocked for all players at the one-million-pre-registration milestone. Marvel Mystic Mayhem has players compose teams from different character classes (Striker, Controller, Defender, and Fighter) to take part in turn-based tactical battles. These characters can also be upgraded over time with in-game resources. It remains to be seen if the game will actually feature gacha banners, or if players are meant to collect playable characters in a different way.
Marvel Mystic Mayhem will launch on 25 June, 2025.
