Unfortunately, Michelle Dee of the Philippines failed to secure a spot in the Top 5 finalists of the 72nd Miss Universe pageant. Despite this setback, we remain proud of her for representing our country with grace and determination.
In the earlier part of the competition, Dee progressed to the top ten semi-finalists, alongside candidates from Puerto Rico, Thailand, Peru, Colombia, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Venezuela, Australia, and Spain. The announcement was made during the Miss Universe 2023 Coronation Night held in El Salvador on Sunday, November 19 (Manila time).
The remaining five candidates competing for the crown are from Puerto Rico, Thailand, Colombia, Nicaragua, and Australia.
Previously, Dee was announced as one of the ten silver finalists of the “Voice for Change” video competition of the pageant.
Despite not making it to the final round, Dee’s participation in the prestigious pageant has brought pride and honor to our country. Her grace, beauty, and intelligence have undoubtedly made a mark on the global stage, and we continue to support and celebrate her journey in the world of pageantry.
