Super Junior’s Kyuhyun reported to have minor injuries after fending off an armed intruder
Kyuhyun of K-pop boy band Super Junior has been reported to have sustained minor injuries after fending off an armed intruder at a musical venue.
According to K-entertainment news outlet Soompi on Monday, November 20, the artist sustained minor injuries the previous day due to an incident involving a 30-year-old woman armed with a weapon.
Reports said the perpetrator illegally entered a dressing room at a musical theater in Seoul where she threatened an actor and Kyuhyun with the weapon. The idol sustained injuries while trying to restrain her.
In response to the incident, Kyuhyun’s agency Antenna stated, “Kyuhyun suffered a minor scratch on his finger and received immediate treatment at the scene.”
The Seoul Gangseo Police Station arrested the assailant on charges of special intimidation and is currently conducting an investigation into the matter.
