Koreaboo is an entertainment website in South Korea. reported A concert staff member found the dead body of the singer in the women’s bathroom on the third floor at 8:23 pm and alerted police immediately.
“It was time for Lee Sang Eun to come on stage, but she wasn’t backstage. When I looked in the bathroom, I found her lying on the floor.” As translated by Koreaboo, the staff said.
The singer was taken to the nearest hospital but, according to reports, he had already died before reaching the facility.
Before the incident, she was scheduled to perform in the Grand Hall of the Gimcheon Culture and Art Center’s Grand Hall at the 33rd regular concert of the Gimcheon Municipal Choir.
Yonhap News reports that the police do not suspect foul play.
