A motorcycle rider who is also a vlogger was involved in an accident after driving while under the influence of alcohol.

The incident took place in Boljoon, Cebu, particularly on a curved section of the road.

As reported by TV5’s ‘Frontline Pilipinas,’ the victim, identified as Randy Mercadal, sustained severe injuries to his face.

Based on the results of the investigation, Mercadal was riding his motorcycle while intoxicated with alcohol.

According to Ninibe Ian Gaudiano, the rescuer who responded to the incident, the victim was driving fast.

Ultimately, Mercadal was not wearing a helmet at the time of the incident.

Gaudiano also added that he noticed that the victim was already missing an eye, but since he was under the influence of alcohol, Mercadal seemed not to be feeling any pain.

He reportedly lost control of the motorcycle, and his face hit the cover of a drainage.

They also discovered that the victim has no driver’s license.

He was rushed to the hospital and is still under observation.

The victim, Randy Mercadal, has 9.2K followers on Facebook. There, he usually posts videos of how his life goes, particularly whenever he goes fishing.
