Si Diego ang 20-year-old son ni Edu Manzano at ng popular chef na si Reggie Aspiras.
Isinilang si Diego noong May 28, 2004.
B.S. Management student siya sa kasalukuyan sa Ateneo de Manila University.
Ang VP Global Artist and Talent management nina Charlie Dy at Dondon Monteverde ang namamahala sa kanyang football career.
Sa kauna-unahang pagkakataon, at sa pamamagitan ng VP Global manager na si Mark Salamat, nagpaunlak si Diego na mainterbyu ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal).
DIEGO ASPIRAS ON CELEBRITY PARENTS
Mga kilalang personalidad ang mga magulang ni Diego. Ano ang pakiramdam ng pagkakaroon ng mga sikat na ama at ina?
Sagot ng young football star, “It feels normal to me.
“Probably I’ve gotten used to it but, at the same time, I feel like them being the personalities that they are, also help me aspire to be the best in my field the same way they strive for greatness in theirs.”
Pinahahalagahan daw ni Diego ang payo sa kanya ng mga magulang niya na: “Do what makes you happy and if you are gonna do it, give it everything you got.”
Popular actor at host ang ama ni Diego. Pumasok ba sa isip niyang sundan ang yapak sa showbiz ni Edu?
“I don’t think so,” sagot ni Diego, na guwapo at artistahin din ang hitsura tulad ng kanyang ama at mga kapatid.
“Never say never, but currently, I want to make a name for myself in the football industry and hopefully get Philippine football to thrive once again.”

Ano ano ang mga ugali ng kanyang mga magulang na minana ni Diego?
“I think I was able to get my mom’s perseverance and strength to get what I want in life, while I think I was able to get my dad’s charisma and outgoing personality.”
Bilang isang mahusay na chef ang kanyang ina, ano ang paboritong pagkain ni Diego na ipinaluluto niya rito?
“It will always be either my mom’s steak or her roast beef. It’s been my favorite for as long as I could remember.”
DIEGO’S PASSION FOR FOOTBALL
Ang football ang passion sport ni Diego at hindi madaling pagsabayin ang pag-aaral at paglalaro ng football. Paano niya hinahati ang kanyang oras?
Saad ni Diego: “It’s not easy but, for me, it’s mainly prioritizing what I need to do in that current moment.
“When it’s time for football, all my focus and energy goes towards that.
“The same for my education that when it is time for me to study that’s what I do focus on.”
At what age did he fall in love with football and why?
“I fell in love with the sport when I was about four or five years old.
“Everything about the sport was just appealing to me. I fell in love with the competitive aspect of the sport straight away.
“The energy, experiences, and passion the sport gave me are something I’ll always value and be grateful for,” pahayag ni Diego.
Gaano siya kagaling sa football at ano ang mga karanasan niyang hindi malilimutan?
“I’d like to think I’m okay, still a lot to learn though,” sabi ni Diego.
“Unforgettable was my first season playing professionally.
“Every single day was unforgettable because the amount of growth I had in that short amount of time is bigger than anything I’ve ever experienced.”
