On her Instagram page on Sunday, May 25, Matet published a couple of photos, one of which shows her and her family at Nora’s grave.
“Today marks 40 days since our mommy left this world. In our tradition, the 40th day is a time to remember, pray, and let go with love — trusting that her soul is finding peace and rest,” Matet wrote along with the snaps.

“Not a day has passed without thinking of her — her kindness, her laughter, her quiet strength. She gave so much of herself to everyone around her, and even in her silence, she had a way of making you feel loved.”
“The pain of losing her is still so real,” Matet mournfully continued. “Some days it feels like she’s just in the next room, and others, her absence is too loud to ignore. But even in grief, I find myself remembering her smile, her guidance, and the many lessons she left behind — in the way she lived, loved, and believed.”
“Today, as we mark her 40th day, we offer our prayers. We remember her, we honor her, and we release her — trusting that she is now in a place of peace, surrounded by the light and love she gave so freely here on Earth,” she optimistically penned.
Matet likewise aired a message to those who stood by her and her family: “Thank you. Your kindness and prayers have been a source of strength when we needed it most.”
She ended her touching post by writing an earnest message to her mother.
“And to you ma, I carry your love in everything I do. I miss you more than words can say. I hope you are at peace. I hope you know how deeply you are loved and how much you are missed.”
”You are forever in our hearts,” Matet fondly added.
