 — Pop-rock band Maroon 5 is gearing up for its fourth visit to the Philippines to perform yet again several of their greatest hits.

The music act will kick of its self-titled Asia Tour in the Mall of Asia Arena on January 29 before heading out to Indonesia, Thailand, Japan, Malaysia and Taiwan throughout February.

Each visit by Maroon 5 to Manila have been performances at the same venue, most recently in 2022, though keyboardist PJ Morton performed at last year’s Wanderland Music and Arts Festival.

“There are many reasons, but the number one reason we like to come here is because we know how much you guys love to sing,” frontman Adam Levine said during that concert.

“As a singer, I can’t even tell you how much joy that brings. Me and the rest of the band, we come out here to a place that I know, that’s your best thing, you guys love to f*ckin’ sing!” he added.

This fourth show however is especially significant as it is co-presented by the Tourism Promotions Board and the Department of Tourism.

Slated to perform as opening acts in the sold-out Manila leg are DJ Mailbox and American alternative-rock band Culture Wars.

Maroon 5 is best known for their hit songs including “This Love,” “She Will Be Loved,” “Sunday Morning,” “Won’t Go Home Without You,” “Sugar,” “Misery,” “One More Night,” “Memories,” “Makes Me Wonder,” “Give A Little More,” “Maps,” “Animals,” “Daylight,” “Never Gonna Leave This Bed,” and “Love Somebody.”

The band has also collaborated with several artists like Wiz Khalifa on “Payphone,” Rihanna on “If I Never See Your Face Again,” SZA on “What Lovers Do,” Cardi B on “Girls Like You,” and Christina Aguilera on “Moves Like Jagger.”
