A grandfather and his granddaughter were trapped inside their burning home in Brgy. Gulod, Novaliches, Quezon City.
In an interview, the victims’ families said that they tried to extinguish the fire, but unfortunately, the victims didn’t manage to get out when the fire became too strong to handle.
The Bureau of Fire Protection reported that the fire destroyed around 10 houses, leaving 15 families affected.
The fire victims have temporarily taken refuge at a nearby school and are seeking help, fearing they may not have a home this Christmas.
