MANILA, Philippines—Slovenian NBA star Luka Doncic won’t be ringless anytime soon.

On Saturday, the Dallas Mavericks franchise player engaged his longtime partner Anamaria Góltes in Slovenia at Lake Bled (Manila Time).

Doncic announced the engagement on Instagram. “7.7,” A clear nod to his No. 77 jersey.

LeBron James, the Los Angeles Lakers star, was among several NBA players who congratulated Doncic and Goltes.

“Congrats brother!!!! ?,” James commented on Doncic’s blog post.

Doncic, 24, was coming off of a disappointing year after the Mavericks failed to make the playoffs and finished 11th in Western Conference even though Kyrie Irving had been traded in February.

In his fifth NBA season, Doncic averaged 32,4 points, 8,6 rebounds, 8 rebounds and 1,4 steals.
