Leominster’s Lavender Darcangelo mesmerizes judges, earns coveted Golden Buzzer in ‘America’s Got Talent’

Local singer Lavender Darcangelo recently wowed the audience and judges alike on the popular talent show ‘America’s Got Talent’. Darcangelo, a Leominster native, gave an awe-inspiring performance. Her powerful vocals and captivating presence on stage immediately caught the attention of the judge as she entered the stage. Darcangelo showcased incredible control and range with her soulful rendition a popular song. Her performance captivated the audience, and judges immediately recognized her talent. As the final notes faded, the audience erupted with thunderous applause. Judge Sofia Vergara hit the Golden Buzzer to send Darcangelo through to the live show.

Darcangelo’s Golden Buzzer moment on ‘America’s Got Talent’ has firmly established her as a rising star in the music industry. LEOMINSTER — On Tuesday night’s “America’s Got Talent,” Last but not least, the best local talent.

Lavender Darcangelo, a Leominster native (and Fitchburg resident) performed the last performance on NBC’s TV show. “Out Here on My Own” Irene Cara’s rendition of the musical “Fame.”

Her voice and story wowed the judges and audience, earning them a standing ovation. “Golden Buzzer” Judge Heidi Klum, who has advanced her directly into the live finals starting August 22.

Klum previewed her Golden Buzzer award by saying: “I feel like I just fell in love … I would love to be your cheerleader and hold your hand all the way to the finish line.”

You can also use a “Let’s do this!” Klum pressed a button to release confetti in gold. Klum embraced Darcangelo on stage, saying that she’d hold Darcangelo’s hands. “all the way to the finish line.”

Darcangelo had told Sofia Vergara about this before. “I forgot I was judging you and I was just enjoying your voice,” Howie Mandel claimed that she could “give everybody hope that maybe we can all achieve our dreams if we just go for it, and you are a dream come true.”

Simon Cowell announced that when the song ended and the audience stood up for a standing applause, “Unbelievable,” Later called it “honestly sensational. Everything about that was just magical, magical. You have such a talent, you have such an amazing personality, and you know what, we make the show because we get to meet people like you occasionally, and I’m so happy that you’ve come on our show to share your talent with us, because this is an audition I’ll never forget. It was amazing, amazing.”

“I don’t know if this is a dream or I’m really awake,” Darcangelo laughed after the Golden Buzzer pressed.

Lavender, 27, is now on the next stage of a musical journey which began when she was three years old. This was a year-and-a-half before she even started to talk. In 2010, Lavender joined a mentorship programme founded by Wil, a pastor and singer at First Parish Church in Fitchburg as well as the First Church of Christ Lancaster. Lavender had asked Wil to adopt Lavender, but Wil and Jamie were only able to do so in 2017, when Lavender was 22 years old.

Lavender was viral in July 2019. A video of her singing became a hit. “Part of Your World” Disney’s “The Lion King” is a great movie. “The Little Mermaid” It was published online. It attracted articles and attention around the globe. She has also sung She performed the National Anthem for the Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation for Autism as well as the Boston Bruins before a match.
