A man from Payatas, Quezon City, was stabbed by an outsider, leaving the victim bloodied in a corner.

Following the stabbing incident, residents in the area attempted to prevent the suspect from escaping the scene.

Seen on camera and aired on TV5’s ‘Frontline Tonight,’ a group of men cornered the suspect by whipping him and hurling objects at him.

As luck would have it, policemen were patrolling nearby, which led to the suspect being immediately arrested.

On the other hand, the victim who sustained a stab wound near his eye was brought to the hospital for immediate medical attention.

The victim positively identified the suspect who stabbed him.

According to the authorities, the victim was drunk at the time of the incident. He was looking for someone called “pangit,” who’s allegedly his former live-in-partner’s other man.

Reportedly, the suspect let his anger out on the victim while looking for alias “pangit.”

According to the report, the suspect only defended himself, and that he has no plans of hurting alias “pangit.”

The suspect is currently detained and will be charged with frustrated homic!de.
