KRAFTON India teams up with Alan Walker to enhance BGMI gamers’ lobby experience

The popular game-developing company and the creators of Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), KRAFTON India has inked a collaboration with the Grammy-winning electronic musician, Alan Walker.

As part of the ‘Be A Hero’ campaign, BGMI players will be greeted in the game’s lobby by the Norwegian DJ and music producer’s song ‘Hero’, which will be available beginning with the 3.4 update.

The inclusion of Alan Walker’s ‘Hero’ intends to reawaken gamers’ emotional connections with his music. Its positive message of resilience is consistent with BGMI’s culture of conquering adversity. With this song as lobby music, BGMI hopes to not only improve the in-game mood but also reignite the enthusiasm of long-time gamers, motivating both new and seasoned users to embrace their inner hero in the battlegrounds. According to the corporation, his music will provide gamers with a sense of adventure and self-empowerment, whether they are relaxing in the lobby or participating in battles.

Additionally, as part of this inaugural cooperation, gamers will be treated to in-game events and content.

Seddharth Merrotra, Head Business Development, Krafton India, said, “We’re excited to work with Alan Walker to bring not just incredible music, but also a message of empowerment and self-belief to our players. BGMI has always stood for finding your tribe and standing up for yourself in tough situations, and through this collaboration, we want to inspire players to keep fighting and keep believing in their abilities.”

On the deal, Walker said, “I’m thrilled to collaborate with BGMI, India’s most loved mobile game and bring my music to such a passionate community. Music and gaming have always been a big part of my life, and I hope my tracks can inspire players to overcome challenges and chase their dreams. This collaboration is a dream come true, and I can’t wait to see how fans connect with it.”

Building on the achievements of past collaborations with Ranveer SinghHardik Pandya, and Mumbai Indians (MI), KRAFTON aims to push the boundaries of in-game entertainment. Recently, the brand also onboarded Deepika Padukone as the brand ambassador.
