Konseho sa Cebu City mag-alyansa

Nagtuo si outgoing Mayor Raymond Alvin Garcia nga dunay mahitabong alyansa sa mga konsehal sa Dakbayan sa Sugbo.

Sa bag-ong mga sakop sa konseho, unom ang Bando Osmeña Pundok Kauswagan (BOPK), unom sab ang kang Garcia nga Kusug-Panaghiusa Coalition, ug upat sa Partido Barug. 

Sa mao nga gidaghanon, way grupo nga matawag og mayoriya.

Sa interview niadtong Miyerkules, Mayo 28, 2025, si Garcia nipasabot nga atol unya sa inaugural session nga magtimaan sa pagsugod sa bag-ong mga napili, ang mga konsehal magpili og ilang set of officers, maglakip sa president pro tempore, majority ug minority floor leaders, ug committee chairpersons.

“I think there will be alliances. And for me, it’s still premature to say who will ally, but I am a hundred percent sure that these councilors will really look after what is best for the City of Cebu,” matod ni Garcia. 

“They will choose who they feel will be best fit to lead the committee chairmanships as well as the officers in the City Council,” dugang niya.

“I would like to see the Kusug-Panaghiusa Coalition have an alliance so that they become the majority in the council, I would like to see that,” pulong niya. 

Ang unom ka mga konsehal sa BOPK mao sila si Niza Archival, Alvin Arcilla, Bebs Andales, Paul Labra, Jose Abellanosa, ug Michelle Abella.

Sa Kusug-Panaghiusa sila si Winston Pepito, Harold Go, Edgardo “Jaypee” Labella, Joel Garganera, Pastor “Jun” Alcover, ug Dave Tumulak.

Ang upat sa Partido Barug councilors mao sila si Phillip Zafra, Mikel Rama, Francis Esparis, ug Harry Eran.
