Jessy Mendiola was all out to support her husband, Luis Manzano, about the latter’s decision to enter the world of politics.

Jessy couldn’t help but reflect on this huge change in their lives and penned a heartfelt message for her husband.

In her recent Instagram post, she wrote:
“This wasn’t part of our plan, but God had other plans for us.
Isa ka sa pinaka-masipag, maalaga at mapagbigay na tao na kilala ko. Kahit noon pa man, palagi mong iniisip kapakanan ng ibang tao. Mahilig kang tumulong at makinig sa iba kahit pa walang kapalit na ano pa man, hindi mo gusto na binabanggit yung pangalan mo o pinapaalam pa sa taong tinutulungan mo. Minsan tumatanggap ka ng trabaho kahit na pagod na pagod ka na dahil may pinangakuan kang tutulungan. Alam namin yan at kahit lahat ng mga katrabaho mo, alam nila kung gaano ka ka mapagbigay. Ang puso mo ay napaka-linis at yun ang isa sa rason kung bakit kita minamahal.”
She continued by saying, “Alam kong hindi ito parte ng plano natin pero andito ako para suportahan ka kahit ano pa man ang mangyari. Isang malaking pagbabago ito sa buhay natin at alam kong mabuting pagbabago ito. Marami kaming nakasuporta sayo, Love.

Luis Manzano is a popular actor and TV host who works for the Kapamilya network. He is the son of showbiz legends Vilma Santos and Edu Manzano. He has also starred in several movies. The star is now married to actress, product endorser, YouTube vlogger, and model Jessy Mendiola. Luis and Jessy already have a child named Isabella Rose, also called Baby Peanut.
Vilma Santos-Recto and her two sons, actor Luis Manzano and Ryan Recto, are running for a position in Batangas. Based on the report of GMA News, the veteran actress and politician will be running for governor. Her son, Luis, will be running for vice governor. Ryan, on the other hand, will run for congressman of 6th district of Batangas.
Luis Manzano expressed surprise at being included in the choices as to who was the leader of the Hukbalahap. The infamous group, also referred to as Huk, was regarded as an insurgent group in the 1950s, though it was initially organized to fight the Japanese occupation forces in the 1940s. The rebel group was then led by Luis M. Taruc. It might be perhaps because TV host and actor Luis shares the same name as that of the rebel leader, and his name was included in the choices.
