Jeffrey Carlson was a talented actor, who made television history by portraying a transgender character in ‘The Soap Opera. “All My Children,” Tragically, she has passed away tragically at the age 48. Carlson’s portrayal as Zarf, a rock star transgender, was a milestone moment on television, since it represented the first transgender character to be portrayed in a mainstream soap opera. “All My Children” CBS News reported on Monday that actor Jeffrey Carlson died at the age of 48. He played a transgender character in the show.  

Time Out editor Adam Feldman first reported his death on TwitterCarlson’s agent, Brian Davison confirmed this to CBS News. Elizabeth Carlson Gingras is the sister of actor, and she told CBS News in a press release that she was not a fan. “can’t wrap my head around why this has happened.” 

“What I do know is that I will forever cherish our laughs and the deep love we have for each other,” She said “He has left such an impact on so many people, it’s so hard to find the words to express how special he was. I have so much to say… but my heart isn’t well enough to provide Jeffrey with the words he deserves. I love you so, so much my beautiful brother.”

There is no cause of death. 

Carlson from Long Beach California joined “All My Children” Zarf, a British rock star, was the first character she played on the show in 2006. She then became Zoe. reportedly He was the first transgender person to appear on daytime TV. He appeared in more than 50 episodes On the show and in the movie “Hitch.” 

He has also appeared in Broadway productions and Shakespeare Theatre Company plays. The organization published about Carlson on its Facebook page
