The post follows Xian’s livestream on May 29, 2025.

He talked about the VAWC case filed by Javi’s mother, Dominique “Nikki” Benitez, against Bacolod City Mayor Albee Benitez. The case has been a hot topic, stirring public interest.

Xian questioned why Nikki was raising the issue now, calling her motives questionable.

In the comments, many netizens are asking about Xian’s Facebook. They say they can’t find it when they search. This has led to assumptions that his account might be gone or deactivated.

Likewise, Albee Benitez has issued a statement addressing the VAWC complaint filed by his estranged wife. The statement, released through his legal counsel Atty. Peter Sanchez on May 29, 2025, firmly denies the allegations of economic and psychological abuse, labeling them as “baseless.”

“Mayor Alfredo Abelardo “Albee” Benitez firmly denies the baseless and retaliatory allegations made against him by his estranged spouse under Republic Act No. 9262, or the Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act, for alleged economic and psychological abuse. This case was filed shortly after Mayor Benitez initiated annulment proceedings in 2024, raising serious doubts about the complainant’s motives.

The VAWC complaint hinges on allegations dating back as far as 21 years ago. Every property acquired during the marriage—including the multi-million peso residences in Forbes Park and Dasmariñas Village—was fully paid for by Mayor Benitez using his own resources, but titled in the name of the complainant, Dominique Lopez-Benitez. This also includes high-value assets such as condominium units, luxury vehicles, and a substantial amount of publicly listed shares, all of which were funded by Mayor Benitez but registered under her name.”
