The company did release the iOS 18.2.1 update a few days back but that one doesn’t offer new features and mostly focuses on fixing bugs and other security risks. That’s why the iOS 18.3 version is eagerly awaited, especially for the iPhone users who can try out the new AI features from the company.

iOS 18.3 Update This Month: What To Expect
The latest details about the iOS 18.3 version suggest Apple could introduce a new Invites app for the iPhone users. The new app has been spotted in the iOS 18.3 beta 2 code by folks at 9to5Mac recently, who claim the new app could help people set up events and organise meetings.
Some might say that Apple already has a platform called the Calendar that does all of these tasks. But it seems the company is trying to expand its feature set and possibly link it with your iCloud account, as the report mentions.
Reports say the company is still working on the features that will be available with the public iOS 18.3 update which means we might have to wait for another week or so before the feature list becomes clearer. The new update doesn’t tell us much about what iPhone users can expect to see in January but Siri is likely to be a big focus on the AI front for Apple.
The Siri AI integration still feels half baked, even though it can now talk to ChatGPT and answer queries. But the bigger chunk of load on the AI assistant is still due and we might see some glimpses of that with the iOS 18.3 and the iPadOS 18.3 versions.
