Galaxy S25 Ultra to have thinner bezels than iPhone 16 Pro Max

Earlier this month, Apple launched the iPhone 16 series. The two Pro models in the lineup, the iPhone 16 Pro and the iPhone 16 Pro Max have extremely thin bezels, thinner than those on the previous models and Samsung’s Galaxy S24 series smartphones. As such, Samsung was criticized a lot. Well, the South Korean tech giant’s upcoming flagship phone, the Galaxy S25 Ultra, will one-up the latest models from Apple.

On X/Twitter, @UniverseIce claims that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will have 0.2mm thinner bezels than the Galaxy S24 Ultra, making the bezels on the upcoming phone thinner than those on the iPhone 16 Pro Max. There’s more to the story though.

The tipster has also revealed a new render of the Galaxy S25 Ultra. In the latest photo, the phone looks exactly the same as it did in the previously leaked ones, featuring a display with more rounded corners than those on its predecessor.

The Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to have a 6.9-inch display, the same as the iPhone 16 Pro Max. However, with thinner bezels, the phone should be slightly shorter and narrower, making it more comfortable to hold in the hand.

Unfortunately, there’s no information about the bezel size of the Galaxy S25 and the Galaxy S25+. Hopefully, we will get to know those details as we get closer to the next Galaxy Unpacked event, which should happen in February 2025.

As for the other features of the Galaxy S25 Ultra, it is said to come with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC, up to 16GB RAM, upgraded cameras, Android 15-based One UI 7.1, satellite connectivity, and upgraded charging specs.
