Epic Games’ Fortnite may soon get a new Star Wars crossover. A new leak suggests that the battle royale game is expected to get a crossover from the major franchise that has already seen representation in several games. It’s important to note that Epic Games has consistently added Star Wars cosmetics over the seasons including iconic characters like Han Solo, Leia Organa, Luke Skywalker, Kylo Ren, and Darth Vader.The latest leak hints at the possibility of even more Star Wars skins being added to the roster soon. This crossover may be the upcoming addition to Fortnite’s track record of collaborations with popular IPs across various media.

Fortnite x Star Wars new skins: What to expect

In a post shared on social media platform X (earlier Twitter), a tipster named iFireMonkey revealed a concept art for a new Fortnite skin based on the Star Wars TIE fighter pilot. While the concept art appears to be a LEGO Fortnite skin, it’s anticipated that a standard version will also be released for use in other game modes. The TIE fighter, an iconic ship design from the Star Wars universe, has been utilized by both the Empire and the First Order.
The tipster wrote: “Brand new Star Wars x Fortnite in the works. It looks like we are getting the TIE Fighter Pilot! via @Xgamer3607”

A separate tweet shared by tipster Xgamer360 also reveals that Fortnite may introduce skins based on the previously discarded Rebel Leia Organa concept and the TIE Fighter pilot. While the leak doesn’t specify a release date for this Star Wars collaboration, it suggests the cosmetics could debut alongside the Chewbacca skin in the item shop.
The leaker wrote: “It will most likely release when Chewbacca comes to the shop. That “scrapped” Rebel Leia Organa skin could ALSO be coming out with it.”

Crossover skins available on Fortnite

Earlier this year, in May, Epic Games introduced new Star Wars skins featuring Dagobah Luke, Chewbacca, Lando Calrissian, and the AWR Trooper. In August, the developer added the IG-11 and Moff Gideon skins to the Fortnite universe.
However, the release method for the rumoured TIE fighter pilot and Rebel Leia Organa skins remains uncertain – they might appear directly in the shop or be tied to a special event.
Meanwhile, players can explore other new additions to the Fortnite item shop, including Doctor Doom, Iron Man, and Ghost Rider outfits.
