Fortnite Gamers Demand Walking Dead Skins Return As Players Debate Best Weapons

Fortnite is one spicy-tweet generator as to which weapon first got into the hands of the players to fight the Walkers with: Is it Lucille or the Shiva Shotgun? The chatroom below goes down into pandemonium, demands, and pure frustration.

The tweet slightly suggests a Walking Dead crossover, which Fortnite has done before with skins like Daryl Dixon and Michonne. But here’s the thing: those skins have been out of the shop for a freaking eternity, and the players are going mad over it. A player under the name @moonlig68236809 asked, “need to add back the walking dead skins?”, while @Formal2__ begged for Jones Unchained to hit the item shop already.

Then we get into weapon choices: some say Lucille all the way, that hardcore, ground-and-pound style melee action. Others go with Shiva Shotgun, the best possible zombie-slaying tool. But some aren’t buying it: @Lapislucas001 replied, “None of them. They aren’t in the creative menu,” and that raises a good point. Why tease weapons we cannot even use, Epic?

Meanwhile, the discussion going on in the replies took a sharp left turn straight into Fortnite complaints. @AlhdemarC95627 went on about how “it is a shit game” with the same skins released time and time again; meanwhile, @Reanna92889398 screamed for the ships to be nerfed-well, probably the recent Star Wars collab vehicles. Now, @DizzySunshynelaying dropped the bomb, saying, “TWD gave me PTSD. No way I’m playing this👀” which… mmm-hmmm.

Of course, it’s not all angry comments: some people are out here vibing. @daniokaih went literally wholesome with, “If you see this, have a good day :),” and @GuyWhoGames777 begged for more Atarashii Gakko! emotes (and tbh, I would, too).

What can be learned? Fortnite fans are hollering for fresh content, especially collabs. Walking Dead skins, One Piece characters (shoutout to @Themanbeastis9 for the impassioned plea), Red Hood (@RedhoodDPS is most definitely on day 72 of asking), anything… players want NEW.

So, maybe you guys at Epic, if you have ears, walk this way and get those Walking Dead skins back into the shop? And if not, well, how about some moonwalking Lucille-swinging action in Creative? Just putting that out there.
