While many fans will be excited about the addition of Fortnite Festival‘s local co-op, the update does still come with another major caveat for players looking to jam out together. Fortnite Festival does not currently feature a special controller for players using the drums or microphone, still requiring fans to use the console’s regular controller for those instruments. Fortnite officially received its first guitar peripheral earlier this year, with the “Riffmaster” developed specifically for Fortnite Festival by third-party developer PDP. Epic Games has yet to confirm any forthcoming peripherals for other instruments featured in Fortnite Festival.
