Fortnite (Epic Games)
Yes, as you may have heard already, Fortnite is back on the US App Store.
And it comes complete with Epic Games’ own payments system, as pictured above, the very same thing that got it kicked off the App Store five years ago and sparked years and years of legal battles between Epic and Apple.
Naturally, Epic is also heavily incentivising use of its payments system through its Epic Rewards program. It announced recently that players will get 20% back in Epic Rewards on all purchases made in Fortnite, Rocket League, and Fall Guys using Epic’s payment system. Epic is also launching its own webstore business next month.
Destiny: Rising (NetEase)
Destiny: Rising is now open for pre-reg worldwide through the App Store. A closed beta test is coming for Android players in North America starting on May 29, with pre-reg details to come for Google Play Store players, too. Android owners can continue to pre-register through the game’s website.
