MyTimeToShine sent out a tweet shortly after Garner announced that she will reprise her Elektra role in the film. The insider said that Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart would both appear in Deadpool 3 at some point.
Stewart and McKellen portrayed Charles Xavier/Professor X Erik Lehnsherr/Magneto in the original X-Men movie in the early 2000s. Deadpool 2 features many X-Men characters from the rebooted franchise, including James McAvoy, Nicholas Hoult, Evan Peters, Quicksilver as well as Ty Sheridan, Cyclops and Alexandra Shipp.
