It’s only been a few short weeks since Kabam announced the closure of its mobile role-playing game Disney Mirrorverse, but already we have a new Disney-themed mobile game to take its place. Announced earlier this year, Disney Pixel RPG has officially launched for iOS and Android devices.
Disney Pixel RPG is a mobile casual role-playing game that sends players on a unique adventure. While on this dreamlike journey, you’ll experience unexpected encounters with pixel art versions of beloved and iconic Disney characters.
Explore with beloved Disney characters brought to life in a unique pixel art style in Disney Pixel RPG. Set out across multiple game worlds with battle, action, and board theme world challenges, with each world inhabited by many different Disney characters. Engage with an original mystery and watch it unfold with your trusted companion Mickey Mouse and other characters.
In Disney Pixel RPG, Disney characters’ worlds have been invaded by strange programs, and have started to break down. These previously isolated game worlds have now merged, and it’s up to you — with the help of beloved Disney characters — to restore order.
The game will feature characters from some of Disney’s biggest movies, including Sleeping Beauty, Tangled, Mulan, Aladdin, Peter Pan, Zootopia, Lilo & Stitch, The Aristocats, Winnie the Pooh, Big Hero 6, and more.
Combat is designed to be simple and fast-paced, as players can directly engage with simple commands. Or let the characters battle on their own with auto mode. For more experienced RPG players looking for more advanced gameplay, utilize the Attack, Defend, and Skill commands. When you’re not actively playing the game, you can send your Disney characters out on Expeditions to gather materials.
While meeting all the pixelated Disney characters is the main draw of the game, your specific Avatar will also offer plenty of customization options. From your favorite hairstyles to outfits — complete with Disney-themed clothing items — you can make your own unique Avatar.
In celebration of today’s release, GungHo has prepare several events for new players. Players who log in during the Release Celebration Login Bonus will collect various Starlight avatar items and receive other useful items that’ll assist on the adventure. GungHo is also celebrating the 700,000-plus pre-requeste users, by giving everyone who pre-registered 7,500 Crystals, an in-game currency taht can be used for up to 25 Gacha pulls, as well as Mickey Mouse-themed avatar items via in-game mail.
