A group of farmers in the City of San Fernando recently received farming inputs from the local government through the City Agriculture and Veterinary Office or CAVO. The event is in line with the observance of the Farmers’ Week in the city. The CAVO gathered the farmers to distribute the tools and agricultural products and supplies acquired with city government funds. The city government said biofertilizers, which came from the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist in Pampanga, were also distributed to the city farmers. During the event, City Agriculturist Cristina Sangumay, represented Mayor Vilma Caluag, who is pushing for food security and protection of Fernandino farmers.
