Christine Juliane Opiaza from Castillejos, Zambales is this year’s Miss Grand Philippines winner.

The pageant’s coronation night took place on Sunday, September 29, 2024, at the Newport Performing Arts Theater, Newport World Resorts, in Pasay City.

Christine Juliane bested 19 other candidates to take home the crown.

Jubilee Therese Acosta from Manila finished first runner-up, while Alexandra Mae Rosales from Laguna settled for second runner-up.

Meanwhile, Qurino’s Anna Margaret Mercado was named Miss Teen International Philippines 2024.

Clinching the Universal Woman Philippines 2025 title was Sophia Bianca Santos from Pampanga.

This year’s pageant edition celebrated Original Pilipino Music (OPM) by featuring classic Filipino hits from the ’70s to ’80s.

WHO ARE SEMI-FINALISTS?

From 20, the candidates were trimmed down to 10 with hosts Dyan Castillejo, KC Montero, and Miss World Philippines First Princess Jasmine Omay announcing the names on stage.

The candidates who advanced to the next round of the competition were Patricia McGee (Zambales), Anna Margaret Mercado (Quirino), Selena Antonio-Reyes (Pasig), and Jenesse Viktoria Mejia (Pangasinan).

Joining them were Sophia Bianca Santos (Pampanga), Jubilee Therese Acosta (Manila), Alexandra Mae Rosales (Laguna), Geralyn de Klerk (Himamaylan), Christine Juliane Opiaza (Castillejos), and Julianne Rose Reyes (Cavite).

Narrowing down the candidate pool, Christine Juliane Opiaza, Sophia Bianca Santos, Alexandra Mae Rosales, Jubilee Therese Acosta, and Anna Margaret Mercado all secured spots in the Top 5.

CASTILLEJOS BET DOMINATES SPECIAL AWARDS

Meanwhile, Christine Juliane Opiaza from Castillejos nabbed most of the special awards, including Best in Swimsuit and Miss Photogenic.

Pampanga representative Sophia Bianca Santos bagged the Best in Evening Gown and Best Regional Costume awards.

Anna Margaret Mercado from Quirino was the first candidate to make it to the Top 10 after being named Miss Popular Vote.
