
Choo Young Woo, Cho Yi Hyun reunite in ‘Head Over Heels’
— Choo Young-woo and Cho Yi-hyun lead the cast of the upcoming fantasy-romance K-drama “Head Over Heels.”
The show follows a student attempting to save the life of her very first love. It is directed by Kim Yong-wan and written by Yang Ji-hoon.
Yi-hyun portrays the titular student Seong-a, living a double life as a shamaness during nighttime when she encounters Young-woo’s Gyeon-u who suffers from an unlucky fate.
“Through her shamaness abilities, Seaong-a sees Gyeon-u walking upside down, meaning his days are numbered. Falling head over heels for him, Seong-a vows to save his life,” the show’s synopsis goes.
Young-woo won Best New Actor award at the most recent Baeksang Arts Awards for his role in “The Tale of Lady Ok.” His other dramas include “The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call,” “Once Upon a Small Town,” and “Oasis.”
Cho Yi-hyun was in “School 2021” with Young-woo, which came after performances in “Hospital Playlist,” “Metamorphosis,” “How to Buy a Friend.” She has since starred in “All of Us are Dead,” “Matchmakers,” and “Ditto.”
“Head Over Heels,” also starring Cha Kang-yoon and Choo Ja-hyun, premieres on June 23 on Prime Video.
