Henry Cornish Care Centre held the event after being crowned Trust in Bloom’s Oxfordshire winner.
Guests, including Oxfordshire deputy lieutenant, Philip Sharman, and Chipping Norton’s mayor, councillor Sandra Coleman, spoke with residents, team members, and the gardening team.
Attendees were shown around the garden by members of the core gardening team as they pointed out new features such as a rockery area, flower borders, and fruit and vegetable raised beds.
Mr Sharman said: “Henry Cornish Care Centre’s garden is truly stunning. It is a real blessing for everyone who lives or visits here.”
Ms Coleman added: “It was lovely to join residents and staff at Henry Cornish Care Centre for their summer garden party.
“I was really impressed by the friendly, family atmosphere, and the gardens are beautiful. This is a fabulous place.”
The home’s garden was named Best Overall Garden in Oxfordshire by The Orders of St John Care Trust (OSJCT) in its annual Trust in Bloom competition, beating 55 OSJCT homes to top spot.
Laura Beadle, home manager, said: “Winning is such a joy. I’m so proud of the whole team.
“We are hoping to grow our team of volunteer gardeners so that we can continue to evolve our gardens and introduce new elements for 2025.”
