Carl’s Jr. Introduces Mobile Game To Boost Loyalty Program Sign-Ups

Carl’s Jr. has launched a mobile game to encourage customers to join its loyalty program. Most restaurant loyalty programs offer prizes and free food for joining, and this fast-food favorite is no exception.

The new promotion is called Need Burger, Get Burger. The mobile game is simple enough to win prizes on the daily. Journey to Carl’s Jr. to collect as many mouthwatering burgers as possible and avoid obstacles for a chance to win. If you complete the challenge, you could receive a percentage off your next order at the fast-food restaurant. Prizes are offered to players who maneuver a digital car into burgers while avoiding stop signs and traffic cones.

According to Nation’s Restaurant News, the chain, which operates approximately 1,060 locations under CKE Restaurants, announced that throughout the month it will also offer prizes of 2,500 large orders of fries, 2,500 large drinks, and 5,000 orders each of single Famous Star burgers, single Diablo Burgers, single Bacon Western Burgers, and single Guacamole Burgers, with additional purchases.

Customers must download the Carl’s Jr. app and create a My Rewards account to claim their prizes. All prizes must be redeemed by the end of 2024.

The Need Burger, Get Burger promotion takes place from Oct. 1 to Oct. 31.

Mobile Game Comes on the Heels of Carl’s Jr.’s New Ghost Burger

This new promotion comes after Carl’s Jr. recently announced a new menu item: a “Ghost Burger.” A press release shared the unique concept behind this product. Carl’s Jr. commemorates those who have been ghosted after a partner, friend, or employer cuts off communications. The fast-food giant will lift customers’ spirits by allowing them to tell their stories for the potential to win Carl’s Jr. swag and freebies.

The “Ghost Burger” is available for anyone duped or dumped. Vice President of Marketing Anthony Nguyen writes of the limited-time product, “Nothing burns more than getting ignored or left on read, except for the mouth-numbing heat of our new burger, The Ghost. At Carl’s Jr., we see you, we hear you, and we want to give you burgers, swag and freebies to take your mind off of the burn from ghosting.”
