As noted in talkSPORTEddie Hearn, the manager of Anthony Joshua revealed that he had heard that Ngannou would fight Fury in a more exhibition-style bout.
“It will be an exhibition apparently, no knockdowns or anything. Who knows what’s what, but I think that is what will be the next fight. Disappointing, but it is what it is,” Hearn said.
Fury provides more details
The WBC champion has not revealed his opponent, but he did hint at the venue of the fight. Bloody Elbow reported.
“We’ve had a lot of offers from the Middle East at the moment to host that fight over the summer. The purse is private information, but let’s say it’s 10, 20, 30, 50 times the amount UFC fighters make.”
